Leads

The Leads page lists every visitor whose contact details Sam captured during a conversation. This includes lead-capture forms, callback requests, and contact info volunteered mid-chat.

What’s in the list

Each lead row shows:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone (if captured)
  • Source — which widget or form captured the lead
  • StatusNew, Contacted, or Converted
  • Captured date

The search bar matches name, email, and phone. Filters available:

  • Status — New / Contacted / Converted
  • Source — by widget or form type
  • Date range — captured between two dates

Updating lead status

Click any lead to open the detail modal. Update the status using the dropdown:

  • New — default state when Sam captures a lead
  • Contacted — your team has reached out
  • Converted — the lead became a customer

Status changes save immediately.

Exporting to CSV

The Export CSV button at the top of the page downloads all currently filtered leads. The file contains these columns:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Source
  • Status
  • Captured date

The export respects your active filters — if you filter to “New” leads from one widget, only those rows are exported.

How Sam captures leads

There are three ways a lead enters this list:

  1. Lead capture form — a structured form Sam shows mid-conversation (all plans)
  2. Callback request form — visitor asks to be called back (all plans)
  3. Inferred from conversation — Sam picks up an email or phone number from the visitor’s messages

You configure which forms are enabled in the Widget Editor.
