Dashboard overview

The dashboard is the first page you see after logging in at viasam.app. It gives you a quick read on how Sam is performing across all your widgets.

What’s on the page

The Overview is split into four areas:

1. KPI cards (top row)

Four metric cards showing Sam’s performance for the last 30 days, with month-over-month change:

  • Total Conversations — every chat session that started in the period
  • Resolution Rate — percentage of conversations Sam closed without a human handover
  • Average Resolution Time — how long Sam took to close a conversation, on average
  • Human Handovers — count of conversations escalated to a human agent

The percentage delta on each card compares the last 30 days to the period before it.

2. Conversation volume chart

A bar chart of the last 14 days. Cyan bars are bot-handled conversations; violet bars are conversations that involved a human handover (Pro plan only — see the Widget handover guide).

3. Live conversations panel

A real-time list of conversations currently in progress. Click any row to jump straight into the conversation in the inbox.

4. Bottom row — three columns

  • Top intents — what visitors most often asked about. Sam classifies every conversation into one of four intent buckets: general info, callback request, lead capture, out of scope.
  • Sam performance — first response time, CSAT, resolution rate, leads captured, open conversations.
  • Widget preview — a live mockup of your active widget showing how it currently looks on a page.

Switching between widgets

If you have more than one widget (Growth and Pro plans), the dashboard scopes data to your active widget. The active widget is shown in the top bar — click it to switch.

For Starter and Trial plans, you only have one widget, so this selector doesn’t appear.

The dashboard sidebar is always visible on the left and grouped into two sections:

Main

  • Dashboard — this page
  • Conversations — full inbox
  • Leads — captured contact info
  • Contacts — synced contacts (placeholder, coming soon)
  • Analytics — deeper performance reports

Configuration

The conversation and lead counters in the sidebar are live database queries — they update every time you load a page.
